A tool to assist engineers and data center facility managers on server placement in data rooms—4 kW or 2 kW of power.

• The modular 4 kWs are 19” rack mountable for direct substitution of a computer, data switch, modem bank or server.

• Multiple racks with 2, 4, 6, 8 or 12 kW simulate heat and power loads as closely as possible, without putting expensive server equipment at risk.

• Load banks can be assembled for 1–24 kW rack load simulation for front to back, hot aisle–cold aisle or base to top airflow patterns.

• Verify upgrades in HVAC and PDU/UPS power by applying kW per rack loads within the data center to maximize white space.

• Optional accessories: plug and cord assemblies.

• Customer provided accessories: Racks, Blanking Panels, Shelves, Brackets & Mechanical Hardware.

The 4 kW load bank is great for testing individually cooled rack designs and rack door opening tests (Pop Test).
